Across the spectrum of life, Lakewood Health System provides compassionate, quality care for the Brainerd Lakes region and beyond.The Radiology Department provides high-quality diagnostic imaging services that support accurate medical diagnoses while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The team performs radiologic and CT exams across the Main Campus and Satellite Clinics in compliance with safety and quality standards.To provide safe, high-quality diagnostic imaging that supports accurate medical diagnoses, enhances patient care, and maintains departmental efficiency.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform routine radiologic and CT exams according to departmental protocols.Assist with satellite clinic coverage for x-ray, phlebotomy, and labMaintain compliance with ARRT standards and radiation safety regulations.Ensure patient confidentiality and comfort while providing excellent care.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other hospital staff for optimal patient outcomes.Monitor and maintain imaging equipment and PACS systems.Manage patient scheduling, documentation, and reporting according to ACR/FDA/MQSA standards.Stay current on technological advancements and maintain continuing education credits.This is a full-time weekday position; rotating with clinic coverage.Holiday rotation included, with on-call responsibilities as-needed.QualificationsRegistered Radiologic Technologist by the ARRTCT experience or registeredMaintain required continuing education units (CEUs) per ARRT standards.BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.Ideal CandidateDemonstrates attention to detail in patient care.Practices strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Communicates effectively with patients and healthcare staff.Prioritizes safety, professionalism, and empathy in every interaction.BenefitsGenerous Planned Time Off & Wellness Time Off401K MatchAnnual tuition assistance of $2,000 per yearBest-in-region employer HSA contributionsEmployer paid premiums for individual-only healthcare coverage!With ample opportunities for growth within the system and support as you pursue your personal goals, it's safe to say that Lakewood Health System is a great place to launch or continue your career in healthcare!A new team member's starting wage reflects our compensation philosophy, taking into account experience, education, certifications and internal equity.
