Vascular Ultrasound Tech - 1.0 Day Shift - Henry Ford West Bloomfield Under direct supervision, performs non‑invasive vascular testing using ultrasonic and plethysmographic equipment to obtain diagnostic images and blood‑flow data. Education / Experience Required A minimum of one year experience working in a vascular laboratory or diagnostic facility is required. Certifications / Licenses Required National accreditation as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) is required. Students who have trained in the vascular lab may be hired on the condition that they become an RVT within six months or the position will be eliminated. Physical Demands / Working Conditions Normal office environment with minimal exposure to noise, dust, or extreme temperatures. Some discomfort due to room size and heat generated by constantly running machines. May need to push, pull, and lift patients and equipment that exceed 100 lbs.
