Key Responsibilities
Your role as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will involve a variety of critical responsibilities, including:
- Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the challenges faced by your clients and creating tailored treatment plans that address their unique needs.
- Providing individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices and individualized techniques aimed at supporting clients' personal growth and emotional well-being.
- Collaboratively establishing therapeutic goals with clients and continuously tracking their progress against these objectives to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
- Engaging in case consultations and contributing to interdisciplinary team meetings, sharing insights and strategies to enhance patient care.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of client progress and administrative records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at St. Jude, you will primarily serve a diverse client population that includes individuals from various backgrounds, age groups, and socio-economic statuses. Your experience working with families, couples, and individuals, particularly in community-based settings, will enable you to address a range of issues from relationship dynamics to individual mental health challenges. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California, with a strong commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards.
- A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, particularly in therapeutic settings.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
