HR Director Long Term Care

Job Summary:

Newark Rehabilitation, a 145-bed skilled nursing facility, is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Director Long Term Care to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Human Resources, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll processing, and compliance with employment laws and policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead recruitment, hiring, and onboarding for staff

  • Manage employee relations and foster a positive workplace culture

  • Oversee payroll processing and maintain accurate HR records

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and procedures

  • Coordinate training, in-services, and staff development

  • Serve as a business partner to the leadership team

Requirements:

  • HR management or generalist experience, with a focus on healthcare/long-term care preferred

  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Payroll experience preferred
