Lead HVAC Technician

Construction Licensed Journeyman Refrigeration MechanicThe Construction Licensed Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic is responsible for refrigeration and HVAC project installations, project planning and review, cost estimation, and will have oversight of project budget ensuring they meet budgetary requirements. In addition, this position will be responsible for repairs and maintenance of hospital refrigeration and HVAC systems and components, ensuring heating and cooling systems are operational for Medical Center buildings. Your voice matters here, because we know that to inspire and retain the best people, we must empower them.Required Qualifications:Coursework/Training: Basic certification in HVAC from an accredited trade schoolUpon hire: National EPA Section 608 Certification - State County City Trade License Authority10 or more years' experience in refrigeration/HVAC systems installation, servicing, and maintenance. Reading blueprints and diagrams in the construction field related to refrigeration3 years use of common and sophisticated tools and systems in an acute care facilityPreferred Qualifications:Coursework/Training: Two-year trade school certificate emphasizing HVAC, electrical and building control systemsCoursework/Training: Successful completion of a 4-year Apprenticeship from a recognized Union emphasizing HVACWhy Join Providence Swedish?
