VAN DRIVER

VAN DRIVER OVERVIEW: Responsible for providing safe, reliable and efficient transportation for residents. RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with Transportation Supervisor to pre-plan and schedule transportation needs of Agency clients. Provide actual transportation with Agency van. Schedule can use for all components of Agency. Monitor and oversee behavior of Agency clients while under your supervision. Develop schedule and maintain Agency vehicle maintenance and inspection program. Maintain daily vehicle usage reports and monthly usage reports. Other duties as may be assigned by Supervision. QUALIFICATIONS: Mature individual with valid driver’s license and excellent driving record. Ability to coordinate and carry out transportation needs of Agency. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Frequently required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
