The ideal candidate is a seasoned technician who can confidently diagnose and repair HVAC systems, communicate well with customers, and work independently. A Texas HVAC license or applicable licensing credentials are strongly preferred, but highly experienced technicians without a license will also be considered.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systemsService air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, air handlers, and related equipmentPerform preventative maintenance and system inspectionsClearly explain repair and replacement options to customersPrepare estimates, document work, collect payments, and close out jobs using ServiceTitanMaintain accurate job notes, photos, equipment information, and system readingsFollow safety procedures, codes, and industry best practicesAssist less-experienced technicians when neededQualifications5+ years of HVAC service experience preferredStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting skillsExtensive residential HVAC experienceLight commercial experience is a plusTexas HVAC license strongly preferredEPA certification preferredStrong knowledge of electrical, refrigeration, airflow, and controlsServiceTitan or similar field-service software experience preferredStrong customer service and communication skillsValid driver's license and clean driving recordProfessional, dependable, and able to work independentlySchedule & Physical RequirementsFull-time position with some on-call and weekend rotation during peak seasonComfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and Houston heatAbility to lift up to 75 pounds and climb laddersEmployment may be contingent upon background check, driving record review, and drug screeningCompensation: $50,000–$75,000+ annually, depending on experience, licensing, and qualifications, plus commission and bonus opportunities.
