Hardware Product Manager (Consumer Electronics)
Location: Midtown Manhattan, New York, NY (Hybrid)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST
Hybrid: 1 day remote (Monday) and 4 days in office (Tuesday - Friday)
Compensation: Up to $122,000 + performance bonus

Overview
We are seeking a Hardware Product Manager (open to EPM, TPM, or Mechanical Engineering backgrounds with program ownership) to own consumer hardware products (preferably wearables) end-to-end - from concept through mass production. You will manage product specifications, development schedules, vendor relationships, and critical tradeoff decisions involving cost, performance, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive hardware products through all development phases (EVT, DVT, PVT, mass production)
- Translate customer needs into clear specifications, PRDs, and success metrics
- Manage day-to-day relationships with overseas manufacturers and engineering partners
- Lead cross-functional coordination across design, engineering, firmware, operations, marketing, and customer experience
- Partner with Product Marketing on positioning, pricing, and launch readiness
- Monitor post-launch performance and feed insights into future development cycles

Must Have Requirements
- 3+ years managing consumer hardware products or programs end-to-end
- Direct experience working with contract manufacturers (preferably Asia-based)
- Proven ability to maintain schedules and meet production timelines
- Strong decision-making skills in ambiguous environments with incomplete data
- Exceptional written communication skills
- Engineering degree preferred but not required
