The position is responsible for concession setup, customer service, food and beverage sales, payment processing, cash security, cleanup, and completion of required end-of-game reporting. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Arrive prior to assigned events to set up and prepare the concession stand for operation. Stock and organize food, beverages, and supplies for service. Sell and serve approved concession items to students, families, staff, and guests. Process all sales, including cash transactions, through the school's point-of-sale system. Handle and secure concession funds throughout the assigned shift. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary concession area. Follow established food-handling, sanitation, cash-handling, and concession procedures. Monitor available products and supplies during concession operations. Complete required end-of-game reporting, including remaining inventory and items that may need to be restocked. Communicate supply, equipment, or operational concerns to the Athletic Director or Assistant Athletic Director. Complete concession stand cleanup and closing responsibilities following each event. Properly store remaining concession products and supplies. Secure concession equipment, inventory, and funds at the conclusion of each shift. Turn concession funds over to the Athletic Director for reconciliation. Perform other concession-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Dependable and able to report on time for assigned events. Ability to work evenings and occasional weekends. Ability to accurately handle cash and process point-of-sale transactions. Basic mathematical and organizational skills. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and follow established procedures. Previous experience in concessions, food service, retail, cash handling, or customer service preferred but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to bend, reach, lift, carry, and stock concession products and supplies. Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Compensation & Schedule Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour. Hours are based on assigned athletic and school events and will vary depending on the event schedule.
