Associate Attorney

You will work closely with our senior partners and associates, conduct legal research, draft documents, and maintain client files. Responsibilities Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings, and provide legal counsel with the help of senior associate attorneys. Create legal documents, including correspondence, briefs, motions, pleadings, contracts, affidavits, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings. Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals and support staff. Resolve cases efficiently by communicating effectively with and working alongside senior attorneys and paralegals. Review client issues on legal matters, analyze available options, and diligently determine the best course of action. Investigate and gather evidence related to personal injury cases, including police reports, medical records, and witness statements. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. Negotiate with insurance companies and opposing counsel to reach a settlement agreement. Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations. Attend depositions and conduct witness interviews. Provide clients with regular updates on the status of their case. Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop legal strategies and arguments. Maintain accurate and complete case files and documentation. Qualifications Passed the bar exam. Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the Utah State Bar (or Arizona). Experience practicing personal injury law. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Excellent legal research and writing skills. Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize tasks effectively. Proven track record of successful settlements and verdicts. Experience with case management software and technology.Active membership with the American Bar Association (ABA). Solution‑focused, kind and compassionate, service‑oriented, respectful, collaborative, authentic, consistent, responsible, trustworthy, accountable for results.
