As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Southport, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a transportation location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will also deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support daily operations through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Pay Rate: $15.52 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts and/or public visitors as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support authorized access, observe site activity, and report security-related issues according to post procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in required reports and relay important information to supervisors, site representatives, and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
