Location: Columbia, South Carolina

Work Schedule: Hybrid
Pay: $85,000 to $110,000/year

• Defend retail and hospitality clients in civil litigation matters throughout South Carolina.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and discovery responses.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Prepare reports, budgets, and case evaluations.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas to deliver effective legal solutions.
• Contribute to the continued growth of the litigation practice.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active South Carolina Bar admission.
• At least three years of civil defense litigation experience.
• Strong motion practice, legal research, and writing skills.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and client communication skills.
• Admission to the Federal District Court of South Carolina is a plus.
