Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 36 guaranteed Experience: 2+ years of inpatient OR experience, level 1 trauma preferred. License: Registered Nurse Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - Scrub experience required - Competent in at least 5 of the following services: general, gynecological, genitourinary, oral, otolaryngology, bariatrics, orthopedic, neurological, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastic, podiatric, robotic, pediatric, trauma, spine Description: This position requires a rotating schedule of day and evening shifts. Start times include 7 AM for day shifts, and 9 AM and 11 AM for evening shifts. Availability for every third weekend and every other holiday is necessary. On-call duties are required once per schedule. Floating to other operating rooms may occur as needed. A positive attitude and flexibility are essential for this role. Excellent communication skills are required. Experience in neuro and vascular specialties is preferred. Candidates must possess strong competency in scrub roles for general, gynecological, and genitourinary procedures.
