Seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to provide on-site services within a dynamic school setting near Lehigh Acres, FL. This full-time contract assignment spans the 2026-2027 school year, running from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027. As an itinerant Physical Therapist, you’ll have the opportunity to serve students across multiple campuses from Pre-K through 12th grade, addressing a variety of physical therapy needs and collaborating with education professionals.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
• Current Physical Therapist license through the Florida Department of Health
• School-based or pediatric physical therapy experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable traveling between assigned schools as needed
• Skilled in working with diverse student populations and age groups
• Able to manage time across multiple locations efficiently
• Completion of Florida school district fingerprinting prior to start date; eligibility for JLA badge required

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and deliver physical therapy interventions for students with varying physical abilities
• Document student progress and attend IEP/504 meetings as necessary
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student mobility and access
• Travel between school sites to provide direct therapy services
• Adapt therapeutic approaches to effectively serve a wide age range of students
