Responsibilities: Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in compliance with food safety regulations Monitor food stock and assist with inventory management and ordering Collaborate with Serv-Safe Manager to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation and service Properly store and handle ingredients to minimize waste and ensure freshness Assist with prep work including chopping, portioning, and marinating ingredients Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times Requirements: Previous experience as a cook, line cook, or in a similar kitchen role preferred Knowledge of food preparation techniques, knife skills, and cooking methods Familiarity with food safety standards and proper sanitation practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain one upon hire About Us: Candis Inc is a proud member of the Roanoke, VA community, committed to delivering quality food and exceptional service to every guest we serve.
