Job Summary:

The Registered Dietitian is responsible for managing and delivering inpatient nutritional services within a clinical setting. Collaborating with medical staff and dietary management, the role emphasizes patient-centered care and quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients at nutritional risk or as indicated.
  
  
• 
  Implement evidence-based nutrition interventions tailored to individual needs.
  
  
• 
  Evaluate the need for specialized nutritional support and make appropriate recommendations.
  
  
• 
  Document nutrition assessments accurately in electronic or paper medical records.
  
  
• 
  Reassess and modify nutrition care plans based on patient progress and changing needs.
  
  
• 
  Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, quality improvement projects, and survey preparedness activities.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a Bachelors degree in Food and Nutrition from an accredited institution.
  
  
• 
  Be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible to take the exam within three months.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate thorough knowledge of dietetics, with familiarity in medical disciplines such as diabetes, renal, cardiac, and long-term care.
  
  
• 
  Possess clinical, outpatient, or classroom nutrition instruction experience.
  
  
• 
  (Highly Preferred) Have community service nutritional experience.
