Recruiting Four Psychiatrists Positions Kingsboro Psychiatric Center (KPC), a Joint Commission accredited Office of Mental Health (OMH) facility, is recruiting Board-Certified Psychiatrists to serve as Clinical Leads in both inpatient and outpatient locations. The positions are based in Brooklyn, NY. Duties As a Psychiatrist, you will provide comprehensive, recovery-oriented psychiatric treatment services built on principles of effective, measurable, and accountable care. Psychiatrists serve as primary prescribers and ensure that all services promote mental and physical health and recovery. Responsibilities Setting a vision for psychiatric care delivery and professional practice models aligned with KPC and OMH mission. Overseeing integration of mental health, primary care, and substance abuse treatment to support individualized treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery. Addressing critical change management factors essential to support a culture of excellence in patient care. Meeting with clients daily and participating in morning meetings. Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments. Creating treatment plans including medication management. Independently diagnosing, treating, prescribing, and providing psychiatric care and treatment services to assigned individuals. Providing clinical supervision and guidance to lower-level psychiatrists, physicians, and/or other medical providers, and managing care and treatment services for an assigned facility, unit, or program. About KPC KPC, located in Brooklyn, New York, is a community-based mental health facility providing inpatient and outpatient services to adults in Kings County and the Greater NYC region. KPC delivers comprehensive, integrated services and operates transitional living residences, a family care program, a satellite clinic campus, and two community-based outpatient clinics. Supplemental income up to 50% of salary for volunteering to provide evening, night, and weekend coverage on KPC’s inpatient units. Salary From $270,356 to $283,577 annually. Minimum Qualifications License and current registration to practice medicine in New York State, and completion of a training program in psychiatry approved by the ABPN.
