Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse Short term acute care teaching/Level 1 trauma facility with 1266 staffed beds. Responsibilities and Qualifications Scrub and circulate experience for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures. Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level 1 trauma facility (1 year considered if at a Level 1 trauma facility; first‑timers accepted if more than 2 years experience at a Level 1 trauma facility). Weekend call required as part of call policy; 3–4 weekday and 1–2 weekend call shifts per 6‑week schedule, holidays as needed. Certifications required: BLS and ACLS. Will float within service line to meet unit needs; no block schedule. Local hire not accepted; home address must be at least 75 miles from facility. Pending license accepted; no RTO restrictions. BSN preferred. Primary cases: cardiac and thoracic; vascular (open and endovascular), transplant (liver, kidney, pancreas), Whipple procedures.
