Description

American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with active CCC-SLP certification and home health experience for a 13-week travel contract in the Bardstown, KY area.

Details

• Home health care setting covering 11 counties across two offices (Elizabethtown and Bardstown) — travel from corner to corner of the territory can exceed 2.5 hours
• Primarily treats patients with CVA/Aphasia and related diagnoses
• Caseload of approximately 6 patients per day
• Documents using Homecare Homebase (HCHB) EMR
• Day shift schedule, 8 hours/day, 5 days/week
• No weekend or holiday requirements

Requirements

• Active KY Speech-Language Pathology license — pending licenses are not accepted
• Active ASHA Certified Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) certification — pending certifications are not accepted
• Active BLS (AHA) certification
• Minimum 1 year of clinical SLP experience
• Home health experience required
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Provides in-home speech-language pathology services to patients across a large multi-county territory
• Professional dress code required
• Approximately 2-week orientation with a dedicated work coach
• A company phone and tablet are provided for use during the assignment
