Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Port Saint Lucie, FL

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences (for SLPs)
• Valid state licensure for SLPs or SLPAs (or eligibility to obtain before the school year starts)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) welcomed but not required; those completing CFY are encouraged to apply
• Demonstrated experience or interest in working with pediatric populations and school settings
• Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student evaluation processes
• Collaborate with school staff and families to support student progress and generalization of skills
• Maintain accurate and timely records of services delivered and student outcomes
• Supervise or mentor SLPAs where required or appropriate
