Backend Data Engineer

DescriptionYou will play a key role in designing and delivering a cache reconciliation solution for major financial institutions, ensuring high data integrity, scalability, and performance in a private cloud environment.What You’ll TackleDesign and build scalable data ingestion pipelines into a centralized lakehouseEnrich and transform structured and unstructured datasetsDevelop and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external integrationsBuild a cache reconciliation tool to ensure data consistency across systemsOptimize Snowflake performance and data modelsImprove reliability and scalability of backend systemsMonitor, troubleshoot, and support production data pipelinesCollaborate with engineering, product, QA, and analytics teamsWhat You Bring7+ years of backend software engineering experienceStrong experience with Snowflake and MPP databasesExperience integrating data into lakehouse or data lake architecturesExperience with S3 and cloud-based storageStrong API design and backend architecture skillsExperience building data transformation pipelinesStrong SQL skillsExperience working in regulated or financial environments preferredStrong debugging and production support capabilitiesNice to HaveData lakehouse optimization experienceC# / .NET backgroundDocker or Kubernetes experienceAzure DevOps familiarityFinancial services domain exposureExperience with AI-assisted development tools
