School Speech Language Pathologist | 2026-2027 School Year We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Speech-Language Pathologist to join our educational team. • Location: Middletown, DE
• Start Date: August 17, 2026 - June 15th 2027
• Salary Range: $60,000-$75,000 (annualized, based on experience)

Responsibilities * Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students to identify communication challenges * Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs, incorporating evidence-based therapy techniques * Provide direct speech therapy services to students with diverse speech, language, and swallowing disorders * Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to implement effective communication strategies and support systems * Monitor student progress regularly and adjust therapy approaches accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes * Educate families on speech development milestones and provide guidance for ongoing support at home * Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, progress notes, and compliance records in accordance with school policies Qualifications * Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist with appropriate credentials for school settings * Familiarity with school-based programs, IEP (Individualized Education Program) development, and multidisciplinary collaboration * Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, families, educators, and healthcare providers * Ability to adapt therapy methods to meet the unique needs of each student while maintaining a positive and motivating approach * New grads welcome to apply!
