Dietary Cook - Magenta Health at Daytona

As a Dietary Cook at Magenta Health at Daytona, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive high-quality meals that meet their nutritional needs. In this part-time and full-time position, you will work closely with our culinary team to prepare and serve delicious and wholesome meals in our Daytona Beach, FL location.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including entrees, side dishes, and desserts, using standardized recipes and cooking techniques
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to safety and sanitation standards
Monitor food temperatures and maintain accurate records of food handling and storage
Assist with menu planning and inventory management to ensure efficient use of resources
Collaborate with dietitians and other healthcare professionals to develop patient meal plans that meet individual needs
Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and staff members
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary arts degree or certification a plus
0 years of experience in the food service industry, with a willingness to learn and grow
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
