Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with our recruiting team. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility regain or improve daily living skills following injury, illness, or decline. This role suits clinicians who value hands-on patient care and a collaborative interdisciplinary environment.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Active Iowa OT license or ability to obtain state licensure prior to starting the assignment.
BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
Experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings is required. Clinical experience with geriatric populations preferred.
Experience using electronic medical record systems. Client uses Net Health and Clinicent; prior experience with either is preferred.
Productivity experience or ability to meet productivity expectations. Typical traveler productivity target for this role is approximately 82%–85% (preferred knowledge of productivity tracking processes).
Current professional liability coverage as required by employer policies.

Clinician will work with interdisciplinary team to provide OT evaluations, treatment planning, and documentation consistent with SNF standards.
