Reuters Graphics is an editorial team focused on telling stories through charts, maps, illustrations and interactives.

Our goal is to find a new way into every story, whether that is through form or topic. That often means finding innovative ways to tell global stories . But it can also be a story about the mental benefits of video games, told through an original and interactive game . The throughline in our work is finding ways to add to the conversation and offer a new perspective.

We believe that this creativity is best achieved through providing an inclusive and collaborative team with flexibility and empathy.

Interns will find opportunities to partner with Reuters editors and reporters worldwide. That will include working with members of the newsroom’s other data journalism groups, such as its award-winning analysis team and its news application desk.

This work requires blending skills from journalism, computer programming and design. Ideal participants bring interest and experience in more than one of those areas.
