Shift Manager

Job Description Assistant Manager – responsible for overseeing all shift activities, including cost controls, inventory, cash management, and customer relations. Must enforce all policies and procedures and set the example for the crew. Key Responsibilities Cost controls (e.g., cash handling, inventory, food management) Cash control and financial reconciliation Customer relations and exceptional service Attendance, punctuality, and transportation to/from work Store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability oversight Staffing and scheduling Paperwork, documentation, and compliance with company policy General Job Duties For All Store Team Members Operate all equipment Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler Prepare product Receive and process telephone orders Take inventory and complete associated paperwork Clean equipment and facility approximately daily Training Orientation and on‑the‑job training provided. Communication Skills Provide clear written instructions Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers over the phone and in person Essential Functions / Skills Accurate arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division); calculator may be used Make correct monetary change Strong verbal, written, and telephone skills for taking orders Motor coordination and quick, precise hand–eye movements Keyboard or touch‑screen order entry Map reading and navigation of delivery area Navigate adverse terrain (multi‑story buildings, private homes, etc.) while carrying product Work Conditions Exposure to varying and adverse weather when removing trash or delivering product Store temperatures range from 36 °F to 90 °F or higher Fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler Hot surfaces/tools up to 500 °F Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts Sensing Telephone hearing, near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks Depth perception Differentiation between hot and cold surfaces Far vision and night vision for driving Tempearaments Direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress Meet strict quality control standards, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions Qualifications Management experience preferred Available two of three weekend days each month (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license with a safe driving record DIVERSITY Our mission is to recognize, appreciate, value and utilize the unique talents and contributions of all individuals. Additional Information – Physical Requirements Standing, walking, and lifting tasks (up to 50 lbs, 10 ft high) on short durations and distances Carrying lightweight items (e.g., 3 lb cans, 30 lb sauce, 12 lb pizza dough trays) over short distances Push and pull trays on dollies (up to 7.5 lb force) Climbing stairs or ladders occasionally to change signs, perform maintenance Stooping, bending, crouching, and squatting for stocking or cleaning low areas Reaching up to 72 in. or down to the floor for various tasks Driving within the delivery area, delivering pizzas and flyers Driving Requirements Valid driver’s license; safe driving record Access to an insured vehicle for delivery #J-18808-Ljbffr
