TalentSphere -Chicago, IL, United States Accounting Manager Location: Chicago, IL Salary: 70-100K (commensurate with experience) We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support accurate, timely financial reporting. This role will lead core accounting functions while partnering with leadership to ensure strong internal controls and process improvements. Key Responsibilities Oversee month-end and year-end close Manage AR, AP, general ledger, and bank reconciliations Review journal entries and account reconciliations Ensure GAAP compliance and support audits Supervise and mentor accounting staff Qualifications 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Proficient in Excel and ERP systems Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA preferred We are proactively building a pipeline of Accounting Managers for current and future opportunities in the Chicago market.
