Position Finance Intern – Summer 2026 – Renaissance Hotel Las Vegas Location Las Vegas, Nevada Overview The internship offers a hands‑on experience in the Finance Department of the Renaissance Hotel. Interns will learn about hospitality finance operations in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service‑oriented manner. Listen, understand, and clarify concerns raised by employees and guests. Multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines. Attend all hotel‑required meetings and training sessions. Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Highgate Hotel Standards. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and nametag. Comply with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations. Maximize efforts toward productivity, identify problem areas, and assist in implementing solutions. Handle problems by anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving issues as necessary. Understand and apply complex information and data from various sources to meet objectives. Cross‑train in other hotel‑related areas. Maintain confidentiality of information. Show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs. Perform other duties as requested by management. Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times. Qualifications Strong attention to detail and work ethic. Effective communication skills needed for interaction with management and employees. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and provide feedback to management with strong follow‑through. Flexible schedule with availability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
