Program Assistant Adult Day

Join our Adult Day Health Program as a Program Assistant, providing care, activities, and support to individuals in a community-based setting.

Location: Rainbow Terrace Adult Day Health Center Address: 9135 Guilford Rd, Ste 100, Columbia, MD 21046 Wage: $16.00/hour Schedule: Part-Time | 25 Hours Per Week Week 1: Mon-Fri | 9:00 AM-2:00 PM Week 2: Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat | 9:00 AM-2:00 PM No evenings. No on-call shifts!

Before you apply, please be sure you meet the following qualifications:

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year supporting seniors or adults with medical/rehabilitative needs
• Knowledge of vital signs, weights, and ADLs
• Able to pass background checks, physical exam, and TB screening
• Compassionate, dependable, and a strong communicator

What You'll Do

• Provide daily care and support to older adults and individuals with rehabilitation needs, dementia, or intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Assist with ADLs, brief changes, transfers, and personal care
• Support activities, social skills, and independence
• Lead musical and recreational activities
• Ensure participant safety and well-being
