About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President to join its Legal & Compliance team, with a focus on providing support for the firm's private equity business. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of legal and compliance matters, ensuring that the compliance function meets the highest standards and is in line with applicable laws and regulations, particularly those of the U.S., U.K., and European Union. This role involves coordinating with various teams to prepare regulatory reports and filings, responding to regulatory requests, and developing proactive strategies for compliance with regulatory developments. The Senior Vice President will also be involved in the development and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and controls, as well as leading compliance training and supporting the review of fund marketing materials. Applicants for this position should be compliance professionals with a strong background in the regulatory field, preferably with a J.D. and at least 10 years of experience. The role requires a deep understanding of SEC, CFTC, and European private placement registration processes, as well as federal, state, and international securities laws and regulations. Experience with private fund operating documents and investor eligibility requirements is essential. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, have superb organizational and writing skills, and the ability to manage projects independently. A proactive approach, the ability to liaise effectively between business and corporate teams, and a desire to work in a dynamic and challenging environment are also key qualifications for this role.
