How you will make an Impact (Job Summary) SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. The Senior Quality Manager is responsible for implementing the quality strategy, systems, and performance initiatives across the Cooling business. This role ensures products and processes consistently meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and operational objectives while driving a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement. The Senior Quality Manager serves as a key leader partnering with Engineering, Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Sourcing, Service, Project Management, and Commercial teams to improve customer satisfaction, reduce the Cost of Quality, strengthen supplier performance, and ensure robust quality planning throughout the product lifecycle. What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities) Your core responsibilities will be: Lead and mentor quality teams across manufacturing, supplier quality, customer quality, and quality engineering functions. Establish a culture of ownership, prevention, accountability, and continuous improvement. Promote a culture of accountability, customer focus, continuous improvement, and effective cross-functional collaboration. Develop, monitor, and report quality metrics, including scrap, non-conformance, customer complaints, returns, and cost of poor quality. Drive root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions to improve product and process quality. Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS). Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements and applicable customer, industry, and regulatory standards. Lead internal, external and customer audits and ensure closure of audit findings. Standardize quality processes, metrics, documentation, and corrective action systems across Cooling operations. Investigate and resolve customer quality concerns and communicate certification and inspection requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
