RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• On-call requirements include overnights on weekdays, weekends 24 hours each day, and holidays 24 hours per day
• Call required 1 day per week and usually one weekend per month
• Work in 5-room operating room facility serving adult patients
• Must have 2 years of recent OR experience in a community hospital or Trauma level 2 facility
• 2 years circulating experience required in community hospital setting
• Experience must include General Surgery, Orthopedics, Spine, Urology, Robotics, OB/GYN (C-sections), and Plastic Surgery
• Conscious sedation experience and administration required
• Must be comfortable with GI cases and performing C-sections
• Expected to administer sedation and monitor patients during procedures
• Required certifications: CA RN License, BLS, PALS, ACLS, NIHSS Certification
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 7-year work history verification required
• Orientation includes non-billable modules averaging 1-5 hours completed through e-learning

This community hospital operates a comprehensive surgical department with 5 operating rooms providing a wide range of surgical services. The facility offers trauma level 2 capabilities and supports various surgical specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, spine procedures, urology, robotics, OB/GYN, and plastic surgery. The hospital maintains modern surgical equipment including the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and provides interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
