Freedom Boat Club - Seasonal Boatcierge at Mt. Pleasant, SC (May through October)

We are excited to invite a part-time, friendly and upbeat individual to join the Freedom Boat Club team as a Dock Team Member. The role involves welcoming members, managing reservations, and providing basic guidance on the water. Position Overview As part of the Freedom Boat Club team, you will work by the water with a large fleet of boats, greeting members and working on the docks. Essential Functions Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards Anticipate and address guests’ service needs Thank guests with genuine appreciation Make and answer telephone calls using appropriate etiquette Navigate the reservation system via handheld tablet Complete daily clerical work to prepare reservation system, fuel logs and weather reports Familiarize yourself with local waters to provide basic guidance to members Speak with others using clear and professional language Support the team to reach common goals Ensure your uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional Follow all company policies and procedures Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors Work outside in the state’s elements and stand for extended periods Required Qualifications Pass a background check and drug screen Be at least 18 years of age Ability to read and manipulate handheld tablets and communicate via phone Availability to work regularly weekdays, weekends, and holidays Adherence to all safety policies Preferred Qualifications Experience in or around boats Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to maintain a calm, positive attitude during periods of high activity Positive, cooperative attitude with capability to work unsupervised Working Conditions Work outdoors and in various weather conditions for an extended period of time Work in a marina setting on docks that may be fixed or floating Work near and on the water Benefits and Compensation Hourly pay: $15.
