AB Electronics is looking for a solutions-oriented HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources department. Position DescriptionThe HR Coordinator supports the Human Resources department in managing day-to-day HR functions, including serving as a front-line point of contact for employees, coordinating recruitment and onboarding, and maintaining compliance records. This role facilitates communication across departments and helps keep our HR processes accurate, timely, and audit-ready.What You'll DoServe as the first point of contact for employee questions on HR-related matters, including benefits, payroll, time off, and general policy questions, resolving what you can and routing what you can't to the Director of Human Resources with the right context already gatheredPost and maintain job openings in our ATS (iSolved), screen incoming applications against role criteria, and schedule interviews with hiring managersManage candidate communications and onboarding for new hires, from application through their first day, including paperwork, systems access requests, and orientation materialsMaintain accurate, audit-ready employee records and files, including I-9 documentation, onboarding paperwork, and periodic compliance auditsTrack time-sensitive HR documentation and deadlines, including leave of absence (LOA) requests, required renewals, and compliance filings, flagging anything approaching a due dateSupport training completion tracking and assist with learning management system (LMS) administrationAct as a department point of contact for internal and external HR-related inquiriesWhat You BringProven work experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant, or relevant roleAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationRobust computer competencies (MS Office, SharePoint, data management)Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projectsOutstanding phone, email, and in-person communication skillsSound judgment about what to handle directly versus when to escalateWhat Will Set You ApartBachelor's degree in Human Resources, psychology, business administration or a relevant fieldWorking knowledge of labor laws (I-9, FMLA/CT FMLA, wage and hour basics)Experience with HR software (HRIS, HRMS, ATS, etc.), iSolved a plusBilingual: English-Spanish or English-VietnameseHow You'll GrowThis is a hands-on role with real ownership from day one, and direct mentorship from our Director of Human Resources.
