We’re seeking a Automotive Parts Sales to join our dealership in Clay Center, KS. Ideal candidates will have strong automotive parts knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to support both technicians and walk-in customers effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers (in-person or by phone) with parts inquiries and fulfill parts requests accurately.

• Identify and recommend companion or supplemental parts as needed.

• Process sales: quotes, orders, payments, returns, and warranty claims efficiently.

• Pull stock and reorder parts that are out-of-stock or backordered; keep customers and service team updated.

• Collaborate with service department technicians to ensure timely parts delivery for repair jobs.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts counter and stockroom.

• Stay current on new automotive product releases, catalog updates, and trends in parts technology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Previous experience in parts counter sales or parts department preferred; dealership experience is a plus.

• Solid understanding of automotive components and systems.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.

• Organized and detail-oriented with strong math and computer skills (including inventory software & POS systems).

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and comfortable with multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.

Schedule: Full‑time, 7:30am - 6:00pm – Monday to Friday; 8:00am - 12:00pm - Saturdays
