(No High-Pressure Sales) Real Retirement: Company Matching Retirement Plan (Simple IRA). The Role We are seeking a high-level Commercial Garage Door Technician. You will be our point person for our commercial and industrial door installation, service, and preventative maintenance (PM). Key Responsibilities Commercial Installation: Install commercial and industrial door systems, including rolling steel, sectional, high-lift, and specialty doors. Assemble tracks, torsion systems, springs, safety systems, and operators. Service & Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on high-cycle doors, limit switches, and control boards. Preventative Maintenance: Execute scheduled PM contracts for warehouses, logistics hubs, and commercial facilities to eliminate their downtime. Electrical Systems: Install, wire, and program commercial operators and controls (LiftMaster, Raynor, etc.). Professionalism: Communicate clearly with facility managers and our dispatch team regarding findings and repair solutions. Accurately document work performed and turn in clean, organized paperwork to our dispatch team. Required Qualifications 2+ years of hands-on commercial garage door or industrial door experience. Strong mechanical aptitude and electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently on active jobsites. Strong communication skills with other staff and customers. Ability to safely lift heavy materials and work on tall ladders/scissor lifts. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Preferred Qualifications Experience with rolling steel, fire-rated, dock equipment, or high-speed systems. IDA, DASMA, or manufacturer certifications.
