MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE

Candidates will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Marketing Department with a variety of social media and marketing initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Social Media focus includes:

• Assist with social media engagement by helping manage Cos Bar's social channels.
• Drafting and editing copy for social channels.
• Monitoring social media web analytics on a weekly basis (e.g. page views, twitter followers), and provide reports of growth and other activity.
• Provide support to social media efforts

Marketing/advertising focus includes:

• Engaging with marketing teams on a regular basis to brainstorm ideas for new and innovative marketing and social media campaigns.
• Assist with gathering data for marketing reports and supporting a variety of marketing and advertising programs.

General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not have any direct supervisory responsibilities.


Work Environment

This job operates in a corporate office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Education:


High School Diploma or GED preferred


Work Experience:


Knowledge and experience with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other social media platforms.


Strong verbal and written communications skills

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills


Ability to prioritize multiple competing deadlines

Self-motivated and willing to go the extra mile

Flexibility and ability to wear many hats

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

• Researching industry-specific sites (blogs, forums, etc) for product reviews, customer comments, and other relevant marketing information.
• Maintaining marketing program files/ activity.
• Assist in the creation of signage, circulars, mock ups, email campaigns, online promotion, etc.
• Assist in the distribution or delivery of marketing materials
• Assist with fulfillment of marketing offers
• Assist with execution of events
• Perform analysis of marketing and sales data
• Seek and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials both on and offline
• Prepare presentations
• Support the planning and execution of in-store, off-site, and brand partnership events, ensuring every activation reflects Cos Bar's luxury brand standards.
• Coordinate event logistics, including vendor communication, décor, gifting, signage, inventory, and day-of execution support.
• Capture and organize event content for social media, email marketing, and internal recaps, while assisting with post-event reporting and performance metrics.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, retail, and brand partners to help bring creative concepts to life and deliver exceptional client experiences.
