About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Radiologist Physician for a 6-day locum tenens assignment in Hawaii, starting Jul 3, 2026. The schedule involves shifts from 7a-5p HST, managing a high volume of cases daily, including CT scans, X-rays, mammography, and ultrasounds, with a focus on same-day turnaround for studies.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Review and interpret 46 cases daily.
• Manage 28 cases from the Emergency Room.
• Interpret 5-8 CT scans from the Emergency Room daily.
• Interpret approximately 60% of X-rays from the Emergency Room.
• Perform 126 mammograms per month (if local and able).
• Interpret 80 ultrasounds per month.
• Ensure studies are completed with a same-day turnaround time goal.
• Utilize radiology software including PACS - Fuji Synapse and Nuance Powerscribe dictation system.
• No MRI duties required.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Radiology required.
• EMR system used: Cerner.
