Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM + every other weekend and holiday

In this hands-on position, you'll perform scheduled cleaning and respond quickly to unexpected spills, helping ensure a healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You'll follow important infection control and safety standards, complete required training, and contribute to a culture of professionalism and care.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning functions in assigned hospital areas, following established schedules and prescribed methods to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Assist in cleaning emergency spills promptly, responding to urgent requests to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Maintain assigned cleaning equipment, ensuring it is clean and functional, and report repair needs promptly.
• Observe and report maintenance needs for equipment, furniture, building, and fixtures to ensure a safe and operational environment.
• Collect and dispose of waste, including hazardous materials, in accordance with hospital protocols to maintain cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

Experience:

• Any relevant experience in a housekeeping related position is preferred.
