Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide quality patient care in an outpatient setting with occasional inpatient coverage. This role involves working with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on geriatric to adult orthopedic and neurological conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient therapy services while ensuring a patient-centered approach.
• Provide occasional inpatient coverage for observation, acute care, and skilled nursing facility (SNF) patients.
• Evaluate and develop tailored treatment plans for patients, focusing on their specific needs and goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.

Schedule

This position offers a full-time schedule of Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. There are no weekend shifts required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Physical Therapist license in New Hampshire or a compact state.
• Completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from recognized organizations (AHA or ARC).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferred.

Work Environment

This role is primarily focused on outpatient therapy; however, there may be rare opportunities to cover inpatient services at a critical access hospital with a 13-bed capacity. The patient demographic is primarily geriatric, with cases ranging from orthopedic to neurological conditions, and may occasionally include young adults or children.
