Notetaker

Teaching Assistant/Notetaker

Touro Law Center's Faculty and/or Office of Student Services periodically seeks currently enrolled students in particular law school courses to serve as teaching assistants and/or notetakers for disabled students who require copies of notes as a reasonable accommodation required by the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Responsibilities

• Students who serve as Teaching Assistants will assist faculty members with class and class material.
• They will assist students in class as directed by the professor.
• Preparing and reading for class, copying class materials, printing cases, working with students in class and on-line.
• Students who serve as notetakers must attend class and take notes.
• Students serving in this position would be required to send typed notes of the class sessions within 24-48 hours of the class to the Office of Student Services.

USD $17.00/Hr.
