Talascend is currently seeking a Forklift Operator for a contract opportunity with our client in Blair, Nebraska .


Overview


This role involves operating forklifts in a warehouse environment, supporting packaging and warehouse duties, and ensuring safety and sanitation standards are maintained.


Responsibilities

• Support packaging operations by pulling product off the packaging line and recording pallet counts accurately
• Place pallets in the warehouse
• Operate packaging equipment to produce totes and 25kg pallets, including bag adjustments and troubleshooting
• Identify and move damaged products to designated areas
• Break down damaged pallets and restack pallets per requirements
• Dump damaged bags into super sacks for reprocessing
• Clean up product spills and maintain interior cleanliness of the warehouse
• Wipe down and keep all equipment, railings, bumpers, and shelves clean
• Participate in quality and safety programs, including training on safety, quality, and environmental safety and health programs
• Assist with miscellaneous warehouse projects as needed

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience, preferably in a warehouse environment
• OSHA certification as a forklift operator is preferred
• Ability to follow safety requirements and pass forklift certification
