Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring general and orthopedic surgical experience with a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Surgery unit with 9 OR suites plus a dedicated cysto room
• Day shift staffing includes a free charge RN with all rooms staffed plus 2-3 float teams
• Night shift staffing includes several teams until 5pm, 2-3 teams until 7pm, and one team 3p-11p
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• On-call responsibility of one weekday call shift per week
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or compact) required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in general and orthopedic surgery required
• Experience with CV and DaVinci robotic procedures preferred
• Candidates must provide US SSN and date of birth for consideration (Canadian SSN not accepted)
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform surgical procedures across ortho (total joints and sports medicine), spine, neuro, vascular, general, bariatrics, robotics, and urology specialties
• Royal blue scrub attire required
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (no local candidates accepted)
