Join a team that values strong clinical skills, collaboration, and a can-do attitude—all while making a difference for our cardiac patients every shift.Primary Department: MT6 Med-Surg Cardiac Stepdown, UHS Wilson Medical CenterPrimary Work Shift: Night RotationalRegular Scheduled Weekly Hours: 24Compensation Range: $40.70 - $61.05 per hour, depending on experienceUp to a $25,000 sign-on bonus for candidates who meet eligibility criteria.Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for an assigned group of patients.Serve as a primary or accountable nurse based on unit assignment and patient safety needs.Educate patients and families on health promotion, treatment plans, and disease management.Utilize pharmacology knowledge to safely administer medications in accordance with UHS policies.Support effective resource use, including staffing, time management, supplies, and services.Adhere to all nursing practice standards, regulatory requirements, and UHS policies.Participate in Nursing Shared Governance, Unit Council activities, and improvement initiatives.Contribute to peer review processes and integrate evidence-based practice and nursing research.Provide a supportive learning environment for new employees, students, and clinical observers.Engage in ongoing professional development, continuing education, and mandatory training.Perform additional duties as assigned to support safe, effective patient care.A compassionate, patient-centered RN committed to delivering excellent care.A nurse who is eager to learn, adaptable, and comfortable in a dynamic clinical environment.A collaborative team member who values communication and shared success.A professional who upholds the New York State Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code of Ethics, and UHS standards.A responsible, flexible caregiver dedicated to clinical excellence and continuous growth.Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.Current New York State Registered Nurse License.At United Health Services (UHS), we believe every connection—to patients, to purpose, to each other—makes a difference.
