Mobile HVAC/R Technician

Our client, a leading organization in facility management and maintenance, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile HVAC/R Technician to join their team. As a Mobile HVAC/R Technician , you will be an essential part of the Facilities Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, problem‑solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Mobile HVAC/R Technician Location: Columbus, Ohio Pay: $35-$38/hr. What's the Job? Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment in assigned facilities to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Perform routine inspections and repairs on interior and exterior property areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, and lighting systems. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems, ensuring energy efficiency and safety standards are met. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections, utilizing CMMS systems such as Corrigo. Respond promptly to work orders, perform preventive maintenance, and support emergency repairs as needed to minimize downtime. What's Needed? Universal EPA Certification. Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering, with a focus on HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and equipment maintenance. Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial or supermarket refrigeration systems (rack refrigeration, walk‑in coolers, freezers, ice machines, etc). Valid state driver’s license.
