Clinical Lab Scientist

The University of Cincinnati seeks a Clinical Lab Scientist Level 2 for the Hoxworth Immunohematology Reference Lab on second or third shift. This role performs advanced immunohematology and transfusion medicine testing, analyzes complex results, and supports reference investigations for challenging patient cases. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining laboratory instruments, following strict quality and regulatory standards, documenting and reporting results, and collaborating with clinicians, students, and researchers in an academic medical setting. The scientist will help train junior staff, support process improvements, and contribute to UC’s mission of patient care, education, and research.
