Shift: 5x24-hour shifts (07:00 am 07:00 am)

Hours/week: 120 hours

Employment Type: Temporary

Experience: 12 years preferred; MD/DO licensed; Board Certified

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP; DEA required

License: IMLC accepted; willing to license via IMLC only

What You'll Do

• Provide labor and delivery coverage, including routine management, cesarean sections, and vaginal deliveries
• Conduct postpartum rounds and emergency gynecological consults as needed
• Collaborate with support staff to deliver compassionate maternal care
• Support hospital's OB/GYN department in a community-focused setting
• Support staff: CNM; no high-risk obstetrics involved
• Document patient care using EMR (EPIC)

What You Need

• MD/DO license and Board Certification
• Minimum 1-2 years of obstetrics experience
• BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications
• DEA registration
• Willing to support approximately 15-20 shifts per month, including weekends

• Experience with routine labor management, c-section, vaginal delivery
• Flexibility to float to other sites including Janesville, Monroe Clinic, Madison, and surrounding areas

About the Assignment This hospital-based OB/GYN position primarily supports labor and delivery services in a rural Wisconsin community. The role involves managing approximately 120 births annually, performing routine obstetric procedures, and providing postpartum and emergency gynecological care. The facility does not handle high-risk pregnancies, and the schedule requires coverage through a combination of weekday and weekend shifts.
