Field Construction Inspector & QA Tester

Special Inspector Location: Salt Lake, Utah. Position Description The Special Inspector is responsible for: Conducting field construction observation and material testing to confirm compliance with local building codes, project specifications, and project contracts. Collecting samples and performing specific Quality Assurance/Quality Control tests on construction materials and building components per AASHTO, ATM, and IBC standards. Compiling detailed records of observations, inspections, and test results. Report results in a timely, accurate manner. Using, maintaining, and calibrating various field and laboratory testing equipment. Assisting and supporting laboratory testing in accordance with the Quality Management Systems (QMS), project requirements, and national standards (e.g., AASHTO, ASTM, IBC, etc.). Job Requirements Candidates must be willing to travel to remote project locations and arrive at the job site on time. The work schedule/hours will vary based on the project and location. This position requires a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
