Financial Solutions Advisor - Consumer Investments - Northwest Chicago Market

This role provides comprehensive financial advice and customized solutions to clients, helping them achieve their financial goals. Key responsibilities include: Triaging client leads and making referrals to internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds. Meeting with clients to review financial and investment goals, building a financial plan with brokerage products (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, banking and money‑market solutions). Recommending banking and investment strategies that align with client goals. Mitigating and controlling risk in daily activities. Identifying and engaging potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele. Providing coaching and feedback to referral partners based on client needs. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements; all employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. Failure to obtain and/or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination. Required Qualifications Currently holds Series7 & 66 (or 63 & 65 in lieu of 66). At least one year experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services. At least one year experience in the financial services industry or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded. Strong relationship building and collaboration skills. Effective communication and confidence in engaging all clients. Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks and execute in a fast‑paced environment. Thorough and thoughtful incorporation of regulatory due diligence into daily activities. Desired Qualifications Strong computer skills and multitasking ability. At least three years experience in the financial services industry or sales environment. Additional professional designations such as CFP or CRPC. Insurance licenses. Bilingual Spanish (preferred).
