As a Security Officer - Armed Mobile Checkpoint in West Palm Beach FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and the public while carrying out access control procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify identification and credentials and document visitor vendor and contractor access in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining awareness of restricted areas screening incoming traffic and reporting security-related concerns promptly.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points lobbies and perimeter areas as assigned noting any maintenance life-related and/or security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement military and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card and unarmed guard card.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
